11/15/2025 – In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), nearly 8 million people have been displaced and more than 100,000 cases of sexual and gender-based violence reported between January and July 2025. Our friends at Panzi Hospital are responding to the escalating conflict and humanitarian emergency in the DRC by strengthening its One Stop Centers, where sexual assault survivors can access medical, psychosocial, legal, and socioeconomic support all under one roof. Beyond Panzi Hospital in Bukavu, the Panzi Foundation also operates centers in Mulamba, Bulenga, and Kinshasa, ensuring holistic care reaches survivors across rural and urban communities.
