7/01/2025 — Recently, our friends at Bikes Not Bombs donated a shipping container full of bicycles to Ghana! Did you know that in Sub-Saharan Africa, 70% of rural residents still struggle to access reliable transportation, according to United Nations estimates. For many, walking long distances to school, clinics, or markets consumes hours of their day. A bicycle can transform daily life by helping children stay in school, giving families improved access to healthcare, and enabling workers, especially women, to reach jobs quickly and safely.
