01/15/2026 – Our friends at Conselho Indigenista Missionário (Sul) are on the ground supporting Indigenous communities!
Most recently, our friends at CIMI (Sul) were working to purchase basic food baskets for two Avá-Guarani Tekoha communities — Tata Rendy and Yvyju Awari, in the municipality of Guaíra. These communities have been hit hardest by food shortages because they have no land to cultivate, and they are also directly affected by pesticide use from nearby farms surrounding Avá-Guarani homes.
We are proud to support CIMI (Sul). You can learn more about how to support their work here.
