Sulala Animal Rescue
Sulala Animal Rescue is the first and only animal rescue in the Gaza Strip. It was founded by Saeed Al Err in 2006 and shelters dogs, cats, and donkeys. Sulala rescues stray animals or pets who have been abandoned by their owners. Animals in Gaza are especially at risk of being hit by cars or contracting diseases caused by poor diet and the rough living conditions in the streets of Gaza. Since the military actions of the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip following the October 7th, 2023 attacks, Sulala has remained dedicated to treating as many animals as they can under difficult conditions.
