Slow Food Youth Network Democratic Republic of Congo (SFYN DRC) is part of the Slow Food global movement. The movement is dedicated to promoting local and traditional food centered around the principles of good, clean, and fair food for all. SFYN DRC specifically focuses on improving the economic situation of young people through the cultivation and conservation of seeds. They promote the distribution of locally produced seeds, enabling young members to grow fresh food to sell.

A 2023 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported SFYN DRC’s Youth Entrepreneurship Project.
