Slow Food Network Sierra Leone

The Slow Food Network Sierra Leone chapter of Slow Food International was established in 2012.  Slow Food is a global movement dedicated to promoting local and traditional food centered around the principles of good, clean, and fair food for all. Slow Food works toward the preservation of traditional food cultures and champions sustainable and ethical approaches to food production and consumption. Slow Food projects in Sierra Leone focus on local organic farming.

A 2023 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported Slow Food Network Sierra Leone’s National Training and Capacity Building Workshop.
