PARSA is a small, non-governmental organization working directly with women in Afghanistan, particularly widows, who have been especially effected by war and largely unnoticed by other, larger NGOs. PARSA works directly with women to find them work and develop their skills so they can better support themselves and their families.

A grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network helped create three poultry projects in Jawzareen and Bamiyan City, where women maintain coops and gardens and sell eggs to generate income.
