Founded in 2005, the Initiative des Jeunes Femmes en Action is a non-profit, apolitical, and non-denominational organization that is committed to gender equality in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In particular, they are dedicating to defending the sexual and reproductive health of young people and adolescents. This organization is composed of lawyers, midwives, and human rights defenders.

A 2023 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported their campaign against early marriage.
