6/29/2023 – In Vaca Muerta, Argentina, fracking continues to wreak havoc on local communities, including indigenous Mapuche groups! Vaca Muerta rests on an oil and gas field the size of Belgium. Since 2011, the region has been under siege by corporations such as European oil giants Shell and Total. Contamination of air, water, and soil has had a devastating impact on farmers in the region, while earthquakes have started to occur regularly in areas which never had them before. Watch this trailer of an upcoming documentary by 350.org about the devastating impact fracking has had in Vaca Muerta and beyond! We think this will be a really important project!!
