Flowering Tree Permaculture Institute

Flowering Tree Permaculture Institute is a nonprofit organization in northern New Mexico that teaches their community how to farm and garden sustainably using indigenous permaculture design principles. They offer classes on low-water-use farming and gardening techniques that work in a high desert climate. Other classes cover everything from raising chickens to spinning wool to butchering meat. Most importantly, all their classes teach people how to live off the land in a responsible and sustainable way.
