International University of Science & Renaissance

The International University of Science & Renaissance (IUSR) was established in 2017 and authorized by the Syrian Interim Government to serve society and raise its scientific level through teaching the various sciences and technologies required in the labor market. IUSR has more than 1,860 students and offers twenty-two different degrees. Students include refugees and internally displaced people fleeing the criminal actions of the Assad regime.

A 2021 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported the creation of a dental center to treat patients and train students in IUSR’s dental program.
