UNRWA USA National Committee (UNRWA USA) aims to promote a life of dignity and human development for Palestine refugees by informing the American public about UNRWA’s work and generating support for its programs in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank (including East Jerusalem), Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan. It is dedicated to showing Palestinian refugees that Americans care. UNRWA USA National Committee is a separate nonprofit corporation from UNRWA, the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East.

A 2023 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported UNRWA USA’s emergency crisis work amid the armed conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

A 2022 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported UNRWA USA’s University Scholarship Fund for eight students in Palestine and Syria.

A 2021 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported UNRWA USA’s University Scholarship Fund for eight students in Palestine and Syria.

A 2020 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported UNRWA USA’s Covid-19 response efforts.

A 2012 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported for the UNRWA’s Special Children, Special Needs Initiative, which addresses the medical problems many Palestinian children suffer as a result of the poverty and conflict in which they live. Specifically, the grant provided orthopedic shoes to 190 Gazan children in need, helping them grapple with physical disabilities.
