Vlad Sokhin is an award-winning documentary photographer, videographer, and multimedia producer. These photos are from his project titled “Warm Waters,” which connects climate science, human-induced global warming, and their impacts on people and wildlife across one ocean, joining the Northern Arctic, island nations, and New Zealand’s outposts in the South Pacific. The book covers sea-level rise, coral bleaching, deforestation, super cyclones, coastal erosion, permafrost thawing, floods, and droughts, as well as first-wave climate migrants.
