11/2/22 — More than 10 million square meters of minefield in Angola has finally been removed, twenty years after the end of the country’s civil war. Angola is one of the most heavily mined countries in the world. We are proud to support the Mines Advisory Group which has been working on landmine clearing projects in the Moxico area of eastern Angola. They help to clear around two million square miles of land in Angola each year, allowing people to once again build homes and farm the land safely. Their work in the city of Lucusse, Moxico transformed the space from a deserted town into a thriving area with over 21,000 inhabitants!
