Sponsor a Sudanese Artist is an organization that connects sponsors with artists in Sudan affected by military hostilities that broke out in April 2023. Many artists have either been displaced by the war or have lost their source of income. Sponsor a Sudanese Artist has organized a catalog of artists and collected data on their immediate needs. In 2023, this group was supported by a personal contribution from CoR director iara lee to assist five women artists.
