Nuestros Tambores is a project of the Center for Creative Economy that celebrates percussion crafts in Puerto Rico as an element of heritage, culture, and creative economy. Their work focuses on artisans, and the social and cultural context in which they develop. Through the Nuestros Tambores archive, visitors can learn about the biographies of drummers, historical context and reflect on the contribution of this sector to our cultural identity and its potential for development.
