The Museum of the Palestinian People is the first museum in Washington D.C. devoted to preserving and celebrating Palestinian history, arts, and culture. For decades, the story of the Palestinian people was told by others. Today, they tell the story themselves. The Museum of the Palestinian People gives Palestinians a space to narrate their experiences, their past, and their legacy.
A 2022 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported the museum’s Children of Gaza exhibition and programming, which highlighted and shared Gazan children’s stories, dreams, and artwork with the world.
