Mohammad Ehsani is an Iranian filmmaker. His films have been screened at many domestic and foreign festivals and have won multiple awards. His documentary film Once Hamoun won the main prize at the Ecotop Environmental Film Festival in 2017. He also joined the Iranian Documentary Filmmakers Association, IRDFA in 2007. Ehsani was born in Tabriz studied English literature at university. Being interested in social, historical and anthropological issues led him to make documentaries. The subject of most of his works has been environmental issues with an environmental-social approach in recent years.
A 2017 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported Mohammad Ehsani’s film “The Water Will Take Us”.
