Mohammad Ehsani

Mohammad Ehsani is an Iranian filmmaker. His films have been screened at many domestic and foreign festivals and have won multiple awards. His documentary film “Once Hamoun” won the main prize at the Ecotop Environmental Film Festival in 2017. Ehsani was born in Tabriz, Iran and studied English literature at university. His interest in social, historical, and anthropological issues led him to make documentaries. Most of his recent work has been about environmental issues.

A 2021 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported Mohammad Ehsani’s film “Water Will Take Us.”
