The Center for International Policy was created to make a peaceful, just, and sustainable world the central pursuit of US foreign policy. The center works towards this goal by developing and disseminating common-sense foreign policy solutions that can challenge and replace the American exceptionalist paradigm.
A 2020 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported the Center for International Policy’s Arms and Security Program. The program engages in media outreach and public education aimed at promoting reforms in US policies on nuclear weapons, military spending, and the arms trade. It seeks to advance the notion that diplomacy and international cooperation are the most effective tools for protecting the United States.
