Lambi Fund of Haiti
The Lambi Fund of Haiti is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to assist the popular, democratic movement in Haiti. Its goal is to help strengthen civil society as a necessary foundation of democracy and development. The fund channels financial and other resources to community-based organizations that promote the social and economic empowerment of the Haitian people.
A 2021 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported Lambi Fund’s reforestation campaign.
A 2016 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported Lambi Fund’s hurricane relief efforts after Hurricane Matthew. This included helping to restart food production by repairing equipment and irrigation canals, replacing parks for livestock and till land to produce feed for goats, replacing oxen and ox plows, and assisting women who lost their small businesses.
