Dar Al-Tifel Al-Arabi School

The Dar Al-Tifel Al-Arabi School aims to educate Palestinians, and in particular to care for disadvantaged girls and orphans while preserving Arab culture and Palestinian heritage. The organization encompasses a school that educates students from nursery to 12th grade, a boarding section where students can live and receive food and care, the Dar Al-Tifel Al-Arabi Museum for the Palestinian Heritage and the Dar Isaaf Al-Nashashibi for Culture, Arts and Literature. The school was established by Hind Husseini in Jerusalem in 1948 to educate the orphans of Deir Yassin Village whose families were executed by Zionists.

A 2022 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network funded scholarships for 10 orphan students, supporting their school fees, uniform costs and costs for a field trip.
