Badil Resource Center for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights

Established in 1998, BADIL is an independent, community-based non-profit organization mandated to defend and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees. Its vision, missions, programs, and relationships are defined by its Palestinian identity and the principles of international human rights law. BADIL has a number of ongoing projects that seek to advance the individual and collective rights of the Palestinian people.

BADIL works closely with Baladna to target the general public and further encourage its engagement with issues of displacement, house demolitions, and land confiscation. The project focuses on documenting displacement through photography and interviews, as well as giving participants the opportunity to actively engage with the communities where displacement is occurring through volunteer work and service.
