Thabyay Education Network
Thabyay Education Network’s (TEN) mission is to foster reconciliation and social justice, alleviate poverty and marginalization, and support sustainable development in Myanmar, or Burma, through higher education and professional development. TEN enables socially engaged individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds to access relevant, quality education and professional development, through which they can develop the knowledge, skills, and networks required to become architects of progressive change.
A grant received from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported up to 150 young people from marginalized backgrounds in Myanmar (Burma) as they developed the skills, knowledge and confidence to work effectively for the development of their communities and potentially access international university education.
