Rainforest Action Network

Fighting for people and planet since 1985, Rainforest Action Network (RAN) works to preserve forests, protect the climate, and uphold human rights by challenging corporate power and systemic injustice. Through strategic campaigns and frontline partnerships, RAN demands that corporate commitments include environmental protections and the recognition of and respect for human and Indigenous rights. Central to this approach is building and maintaining authentic and effective partnerships with local, Indigenous, and frontline communities and their allies across the globe—many of whom are directly impacted by the group's corporate targets.

A 2020 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported RAN's community action grants program.
