Maria Fund

The Maria Fund was created in September 2017 to support and strengthen a powerful and aligned ecosystem of social justice leaders, organizations, and initiatives that are building community power for Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria. After the hurricane, the group distributed $4.2 million among forty-nine organizations that provided relief and organized with more than 100,000 people.

A 2020 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported the Maria Fund's earthquake rapid response fund.
