ST eXposure is an independent multimedia collective based in the Philippines’s Southern Tagalog region. Since its formation in 2001, it has produced film and video projects. These include documentaries, animated music videos, and other multimedia initiatives to promote the rights and welfare of the country’s marginalized sectors and their struggle for social justice.

Myanmart Evolution is a Yangon-based network of artists whose current projects include developing a multilingual archive of arts, history, poetry, and theory in Myanmar today.
For the months of April and May 2013, 7000 Padauk was created as a site of exhibits and action in Yangon, Burma. It was a place where artists could live, spend a few hours, and create performance art, graffiti murals, live painting shows, or poetry.

The Association of War Affected Women (AWAW) was founded in 2000 by parents of service members missing in action who sought ways to help each other during the ongoing war in Sri Lanka. AWAW aims to bring together Sri Lankan women affected by war across conflict lines to work towards peace, support one another, and share and learn from their diverse efforts. AWAW’s primary goal is to help women escape an isolated situation while addressing their social, economic, and mental needs, which it believes would help strengthen democracy and ensure peace in Sri Lanka.
Founded in the early 1990s by Dr. Vandana Shiva, Navdanya International engages in policy advocacy, grassroots mobilization, and science-based research. Through projects including seed conservation centers, organic farming programs, technical assistance to farmers, awareness campaigns, and publications, Navdanya champions food justice in India and beyond.
Generation Wave is a pro-democracy Burmese youth movement founded in the wake of the anti-government protests best known as the Saffron Revolution. Aiming to build the capacity of pro-democracy and human rights efforts, the group’s ultimate goal is to overcome the oppression of dictatorship and achieve human rights for all Burmese citizens.
The United States Campaign for Burma (USCB) is a U.S. based organization dedicated to empowering grassroots activists around the world to rally for human rights and to bring an end to the military dictatorship in Burma. The organization’s mission is to build a broad-based coalition of grassroots and institutional support for freedom in Burma.
Thabyay Education Network’s (TEN) mission is to foster reconciliation and social justice, alleviate poverty and marginalization, and support sustainable development in Myanmar, or Burma, through higher education and professional development. TEN enables socially engaged individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds to access relevant, quality education and professional development, through which they can develop the knowledge, skills, and networks required to become architects of progressive change.
Since its formation in 1994, Solidarity for Peace and Reunification of Korea (SPARK) has organized for national self-determination, peace and disarmament, and the reunification of the two East Asian nations. Based in what is now considered South Korea, SPARK is composed of nine district offices and nearly 2,000 members from all corners of the country. Much of the organization’s work is focused on abolishing unjust military partnerships between South Korea and the United States and on peacefully resolving the North Korean nuclear issue.
The South Korean naval base being built in the Gangjeong Village, Jeju, is causing environmental destruction and will threaten peace in the region. In response to the government’s undemocratic decision-making process and violent imposition of the base, local residents have mobilized an opposition movement that has spread across the country and enjoys international support and solidarity.
