The Yemen Peace Project (YPP) works to support Yemeni individuals and organizations creating positive change, advance peaceful and just US policies toward Yemen, defend the rights of Yemenis in the diaspora, and increase understanding of Yemen in the wider world. Since 2010, the group has amplified the efforts of Yemeni civil society actors, informed the US public and policymakers about Yemeni affairs, created a global platform for Yemeni artists and filmmakers, and worked to transform US policy toward Yemen.

APOPO is a social enterprise, registered in Belgium and active in the African Great Lakes Region. APOPO developed an appropriate detection technology, based on the extremely sensitive olfaction capacity of trained rodents. APOPO’s mission is to help save the lives of vulnerable population groups by training rats to detect land mines and tuberculosis. This approach has been endorsed by eleven African Great Lakes Region countries to address humanitarian challenges.
A 2018 grant from the Cultures of Resistance Network supported APOPO’s work in Angola.

The arms business has a devastating impact on human rights and security, holds back economic development, and reinforces a militaristic approach to international problems. CAAT works to expose and document the activities of arms companies, challenge government support for the arms trade, and mobilize the public to take effective campaign action.

Caritas Jordan is a humanitarian non-governmental organization that is affiliated with the Catholic Church. It was established in 1967 as a result of the June war and in response to the humanitarian needs that emerged from the wars and the displacement of the Palestinian people to Jordan. The organization aims to convey a message of love to the poor and needy through the good work of groups and individuals. Since its establishment, it has worked on combating poverty and sustaining social development for Jordanian society.

The initial meeting for United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ) was in Washington, DC, on October 25, 2002. More than seventy peace and justice organizations agreed to form a new coalition to coordinate efforts to end the war in Iraq. Since then, UFPJ has grown to include over 1,400 member groups all around the world working on a broad range of issues. The coalition has turned public opinion around to oppose both the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It maintains an informed, engaged, and collegial community of funders, whose numbers and investments in the field are steadily increasing.

Mines Action Canada (MAC), a coalition of Canadian non-governmental organizations, is an international leader working to eliminate the serious humanitarian, environmental, and developmental consequences of land mines, cluster munitions, and explosive remnants of war (ERW). It believes the human-made disaster caused by these weapons is solvable in this lifetime. The coalition exists to advocate for the alleviation of the impact of these weapons on the rights, dignity, and well-being of civilian populations.

The Korea Policy Institute (KPI) is an independent research and educational institute that provides timely analysis of US policies toward Korea and developments on the Korean peninsula. In the interest of promoting friendship between the peoples of the United States and Korea, KPI is guided by the premise that a reasonable US policy towards Korea must be supportive of the legitimate desires of the Korean people for peace, sovereignty, reconciliation, and the reunification of Korea.
