Through Freedom Flotillas and other naval missions, the Gaza Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) brings international attention to the suffering and resistance of Palestinians. The 2018 Gaza Flotilla was an initiative of the FFC and was composed of civil society organizations and campaigns from many countries. It challenged the illegal and inhumane Israeli blockade of Gaza. FFC is committed to continuing the struggle until the blockade is unconditionally lifted and the Palestinian people everywhere regain their full rights.

The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) is an independent Palestinian civil society campaign founded and led by human rights defenders. PACBI is a founder and main part of the Palestinian Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) National Committee, the largest Palestinian civil society coalition that leads the global nonviolent BDS movement for freedom, justice, and equality.

The National Institution of Social Care and Vocational training (NISCVT), known as Beit Atfal Assumoud (BAS), is a humanitarian, non-sectarian, and non-governmental organization. It was established on August 12th, 1976, after the Tal Al Zaatar massacre, to provide assistance and accommodation for the orphaned children who lost their parents during the massacre. Today, NISCVT is providing services for the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and other disadvantaged people of other nationalities living in the camps or close to them.

Defense for Children International Palestine is an independent, local Palestinian child rights organization dedicated to defending and promoting the rights of children living in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. For twenty-five years, they have investigated, documented, and exposed grave human rights violations against children; held Israeli and Palestinian authorities accountable to universal human rights principles; and advocated at the international and national levels to advance access to justice and protection for children.

The Palestine Museum of Natural History and its Palestine Institute of Biodiversity and Sustainability of Bethlehem University have a mission focused on research, education, and conservation of the natural world, culture, and heritage. They use knowledge to promote responsible empowered human interactions with all components of the environment. They also have a system for research, education, and conservation to address areas in need in Palestine.

Adalah – The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel is a legal center and independent human rights organization based in Israel. Established in 1996, Adalah uses Israeli legal channels to protect and promote the rights of Palestinian citizens of Israel, who make up 20 percent of the population, as well as Palestinian residents of the Occupied Palestinian Territory. The organization regularly brings cases to the Israeli Supreme Court and has engaged in international advocacy at the United Nations and in the European Union and the United States since 2014.

Established in 1998, BADIL is an independent, community-based non-profit organization mandated to defend and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees. Its vision, missions, programs, and relationships are defined by its Palestinian identity and the principles of international human rights law. BADIL has a number of ongoing projects that seek to advance the individual and collective rights of the Palestinian people.

Caritas Jordan is a humanitarian non-governmental organization that is affiliated with the Catholic Church. It was established in 1967 as a result of the June war and in response to the humanitarian needs that emerged from the wars and the displacement of the Palestinian people to Jordan. The organization aims to convey a message of love to the poor and needy through the good work of groups and individuals. Since its establishment, it has worked on combating poverty and sustaining social development for Jordanian society.

Islamiya University, or the Islamic University of Gaza, is an independent academic institution supervised by the Ministry of Higher Education. It provides an academic environment that adheres to Islamic principles and Palestinian traditions and customs. The university’s mission is to raise the educational, cultural, and civilization levels in the Palestinian society, to keep up with current trends in higher education and technology advancements, to encourage scientific research, and to contribute to building future generations and developing the society in a framework of Islamic values.
