Trees, Water & People (TWP) works to help communities across the Americas protect and manage their natural resources. They focus on local solutions that build climate resilience.

Their partner project Comité Ecológico Aldea de Suyapa (COEAS) aims to protect the Cantagallo, Montañita, and Triuqilapa watersheds adjacent to Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The project’s volunteer community members have acted to protect the centuries-old forest in this area from wood poachers, land grabbers, and wildfires.
